Yeah. What I saw didn’t happen. What everyone else at the company saw didn’t happen. What I had heard from others doesn’t happen. Git is perfect. Git has no bugs. Somehow, despite being as careful as is possible, and having studied git from books and tutorials, we were all doing something “wrong.”

Take your religious certainty and put it somewhere moist. Now go write some unit tests and do some pair programming.
