This is why I could never be a dev lead, I did it once and it was agony, I couldn't get to sleep, I worried about being fair, in retrospect IU needed to fire all of them. One was just starting outand went stright into contracting, another fought me over everything, would not even check in his work.

His voice was ugly and loud, I hated his compulsive screen sharing, but the worst was his code. Absolute Tata level garbage.. One day we were on a call and he was asking about a piece of my code, which is as legible as I can make it, and started removing the "extra" whitespace so it looked like his own ugly work. I just about blew a gasket.

But the only thing managers cared about was keeping things nicey-nice.

I so prefer to work alone.

But the "which branch" question suggested strongly there was something wrong with his mind.
