The daily scrum thing is a meeting and therefore an interruption. There is no reason it can’t be handled in email, which allows people to work from home, which is more productive than trying to work with constant interruptions.

Like meetings.

And holding the goddamn thing in the morning means that the attendees have to drive in rush-hour traffic, which is a really lousy way to start the day.

You’ve been a programmer for three years. Welcome. Sorry but you missed the good times. I’ve been at it since 1988. And if you think this scrum/agile stuff is anything more than bullshit you have a lot to learn.
