Style guide, huh?
If style guides are any good then why is nearly 100% of the code at any company almost completely illegible? Why do so may developers strive to make their code unreadable by anyone else? Why are we subject to fads like ( this )?
I'm used to pre-COVID code reviews, where everyone in the review came to a meeting directly from the printer and saw the code for the first time at the meeting, so it's small wonder that the "review" was mostly formatting quibbles or passionate scolds about consistency.
