Scrum turned my 30 minute commute to a 90 minute commute and I didn’t get paid for an hour driving in rush hour traffic, which is a seriously fucked-up way to start a day where the quality of my work depends on my ability to concentrate.

A daily meeting is a daily interruption and requires people to work onsite, which means they have more interruptions.

Like meetings.

I read your agile values and they’re so general, abstract, and airy that I can’t map them to anything real, be it activity, outlook, or process.

Agile is a cancer that has metastasized into most of software development while I’ve been doing remote work. I’m sticking with remote work.
