Pair programming puts people in therapy. You lost me there. Imposing Pair programming should be a felony.
I don’t give a damn about the role of Whiteboard interviewing in diversity or inclusion. The essential point is that we are expected to think at our highest while some untrained interviewer sniffs and fidgets and makes misleading suggestions. If I had to work with someone watching I wouldn’t finish my first day.
Three hours of pair programming at Microsoft was enough to make me resign my job the next morning and I will never work there again.
You need better reasons for ending this idiotic practice than what you’ve cited. Applicable reasons, not SJW nonsense.
