On my most recent gig we had a daily zoom call. I didn’t care for it. As each developer came on he would say “let me share my screen,” and nine times out of ten there was no reason to do so. So you got an error message. Just tell me the file, line, and message text and don’t make me watch you operate a mouse for ten minutes.

I can’t scroll, I can’t select, the guy has basically hijacked my computer because he’s mechanical and has to always follow the same steps.

As soon as this gig ended I deleted zoom.

Spend $600 just to watch some android clicky-click? No thanks. I prefer Skype anyway,

Give me an option to block screen sharing and I might reconsider.
