Nice stream of medical metaphors.

I see great parallel between the collapse of a massive star and the American right; ever hotter, ever denser, falling freely. But the end of that process is catastrophic explosion. I think America is headed toward something more like supernova than mere death.

Anyone who thinks the American ideal of freedoms is working should go to a mall, and look at the faces. Behold the vacant eyes.
