If scrum needs to get rid of anything it’s the meetings. Starting with the “daily standup.”
Meetings are interruptions and every recurring meeting is a blazing red flag flapping furiously in the wind. They are never canceled and they never let out early, and they kill concentration for the rest of the day.
When these methodologies started I stopped working onsite. Nothing I have ever done in my life felt more phony or more contrived than the rituals of scragile.
