If liberals seem intolerant to you it’s probably because the view we oppose are so abhorrent that they don’t deserve consideration. Conservatism has transformed from "small government" to cruelty and selfishness, and, no, my mind is closed to it.

It's one thing to be open-minded but if you can accept contemporary conservatism, that's not open-minded, that's brains falling out.
