I read code a lot better than most; after I know a code base I can usually find and fix bugs without using a debugger, jumping right to the broken code, seeing the bug, fixing, testing, committing, all during a conference call.

And I can’t read most JavaScript. I expect at least block level comments, indications of invisible side effects (JS has globals). They’re never there.

I’m not going to keep bitching about JavaScript; I’m taking a Udemy course aimed at experienced people, learning a lot (https://www.udemy.com/course/javascript-advanced/) but if I had my druthers it would be in C#.

The money however is just as green, thought when I get it here it’s all colors.
