I don't do browser work, though in my most ecent job I did cryptography in the browser. Second, I have seen many scripting languages used within HTML, not just JS. Are you telling me that every company producing a browser has decided to only support one scripting language now?

If you are saying that JS is only used in the browser, even I, with minimal JS experience, know otherwise.

I don't like JavaScript. I don't like the anarchic proliferation of versions and dialects, the need for hacks like Babel, but most of all I can't stand var. or the fact that I can misspell an object field and not see any problem until runtime. The design of the language itself is weak and shoddy.

But Django makes it look stellar.
