“Free expression” means making one’s code impossible for others to read, and that’s all it’s ever meant.

My code is almost obsessively neat and ordered; nobody has ever said it’s hard to read, many have told me, through clenched teeth, that they are not going to emulate it,

I work solo, I don’t do team bullshit, but if I did I’d be the biggest tyrant you ever saw and the coding standard would be perfectly and universally legible.
