I’ll take that race to the bottom. Because, GODDAMMIT, if I’m in my ofice at 3AM tracing dowwn a bug and it turns out to be someone else’s work doing completely ordinary things but it’s broken because he tried to be cooool nd clever I’m going to want to break his hyoid bone.

My code is a stodgy and simple as I can make it. Complexity is for algorithmic work and te vast majority of code should be as unclever and unimpressive as possible so it never breaks.
