Astonishing to read someone talking about flow, I thought I was the only one who remembered it. Because flow, and even ordinary concentration, seem to have left the building.
Almost as astonishing to read about key-bindings, I thought I was the only one still used them.
And refreshing to read a development related article not about unit testing, though you could have reached near godlike status in my eyes had you left out “technical debt.”
One issue: code reformatting. When it comes to telling me how to format code, Microsoft does not belong in any mention. Their idea how code should look absolutely stinks. I work with full VS and I am constantly battling it’s tyranny in this area, it cannot be shut off, and it will turn my carefully legible code into a jagged, cluttered mess if I hit a ; by accident.
Yeah, it’s consistent. Consistently illegible, consistently ugly.
